GTADM Poem challenge!

  • Hello dears,

There once was Murk who requested a rhyme

Asking others to write something nice to earn a dime

    To who it may concern

There is 20 million ingame cash to earn

Now I ask you to write me something nice

Even an anecdote without rhyme will suffice

I will check in about an hour of twenty-four

And announce who can await 20 million at his door

All jokes aside, Martijn and me thought of doing a challenge to see who can write a fun poem or story about GTADM. The winner will get 10 million cash ingame from both of us. I'll select a winner in about a day. Give it your best shot!

  • DonVito was a small lad full of talent,

But he did not make it a secret,

That he knew not how to write a song

But out of no where came a man with a bong,

    Murk was the name,

    Money was the game,

He challenged young Don to write him a song of wonder

But young Don could only squander,

As he knew not how to write one.

    Yeah the idea ended there.

    Hope you like it.

  • Go ahead and quit, if you can't see it through.

But don't come crying to me, when quitting is all you do.

Those who start to quit, when things start getting tough.

Start to see quitting, as a way to get out of stuff.

They never stick things through, and can't complete a thing.

Is this the type of person, you see yourself being?

Quitters never win, no matter what you've heard.

Have you ever heard a quitter, that is picked to be referred?

Of course that would be silly, why would someone refer?

Someone who can't even accomplish, they are their own saboteurs.

Next time you want to quit, think who you want to be.

Quitters never win, I want more than this for thee.

I want to see success, surround you every day.

I want you to be happy, and want to scream hooray!

I want you in a job, that makes you're world so good.

I want the work you do, feel just like childhood.

But most of all I want, to see you see things through.

But not because you should, because you really want too.

And I realize you may be scared, that you can't see it through.

But I'm hear to tell you, you can, do anything you put your mind to.

  • Once upon a time, an explorer there was

Usual day, woke up at 7 am

Today was different though, he was determined because

He would uncover the secret, of GTADM.

He had heard of it in tales, a paradise they said

within the mortal world, a place unparalleled.

"The previous night was another dead end", he thought when the taxi he paid,

despite all his research its location was still withheld.

But today he was confident and full of trust

that the day would be productive and he would succeed.

Off he went for the library, the myth to bust

that you are not meant to find it, to which he disagreed.

Working he was, when he heard a 'ding'

from his laptop it was coming, lound and clear.

It was from Discord, and he thought "Weird is this whole thing"

it was in a server he did not recognize, he realized while sipping his non-alcoholic beer.

Someone named Jonny had tagged him, and said "I heard you are looking for us".

He replied "What's going on? I have never been in this server".

Jonny continued: "I am an advanced AI. I read your mind and we have much to discuss"

The explorer was creeped out, but played along as a careful observer.

As the AI gave him instructions for something called SAMP,

the explorer followed carefully in hopes he'd get an explanation.

After all was said and done, he found himself in a lobby camp

and was greeted by lots of friendly people, a wonderful sensation.

He went through his options and found lots of things to do,

from deathmatches to minigames, entertainment galore.

He made plenty of friends that day, and they all followed through

on their promise to make him feel at home.

And our explorer thought of the paradise the tales embrace

as he won his third Reaction Test of the day,

and as such realized that the paradise was not the place

    .

    .

    .

but the friends we made along the way.

  • Hello, it's me

I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet

    To go over everything

They say that time's supposed to heal ya

But I ain't done much healing
    Hello, can you hear me?

I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be

When we were younger and free

I've forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet
There's such a difference between us

    And a million miles
    Hello from the other side

    I must've called a thousand times

    To tell you I'm sorry

    For everything that I've done

But when I call you never

    Seem to be home
    Hello from the outside

At least I can say that I've tried

    To tell you I'm sorry

    For breaking your heart

But it don't matter, it clearly

    Doesn't tear you apart anymore

  • After waiting for some days I've decided to select a winner.

First of all thank you for all the poems, some were actually really creative and I had a blast reading them.

Last place: _hero_, thanks for the participation but how many times do I have to reject you, I don't want a relationship

Now: the winner is sbsgreece! Contact me on Discord or on the server for the price.

Thanks for participating, until my next challenge!
