    Detailed description of the suggestion:

    So instead of waiting 15 Minutes for properties to give you money and staying AFK for 24/7, I think properties should be different than that.
    You gotta do missions to get the money, it should give a lot of money also it should have a cool down maybe 1 or 2 hours for each property you own. Only one player can do the mission in the whole server after he finishes it another player could do it.
    More than one player could buy the property just like gta online

    There would be a drug factory or counterfeit money factory (as a property) it should be expensive. You need to buy the cargo first, then you pickup the cargo from somewhere in the map and deliver it to your property and other players should try attacking you and take your cargo, if they did, they will get 50-70 % of the money that you should get from delivering it. Cargo should be kinda expensive like 750K or more so it don't be so easy. The cargo car should have more HP than normal cars as players will be hunting you. Properties should have 3 different tiers the higher the tier the more money it gives. Maybe like 2 or 3 Properties in each tier. more than one player could buy or rent for an amount of days. It should require a lot of score First tier 5000 score Second 10000 third 20000
    I think this will add another main way to get money other than exports.

  • Edit : maybe the hitman mission could be in a property, you kill the target get the loot or cargo and go to the property just like hitman but with loot crates or cargo and you don't need a cargo car.

  • i like the idea of doing more then just being afk and getting the money, drug deliveries, counterfeit cash deliveries, counterfeit casino chips, ammunition and weapons, you name it. we can come up with a lot of idea's. And stealing someone's cargo is a great plan aswell so we have more things to do in the server. I am looking forward to see someone come up with an idea.

    In past we had an idea of making properties just like the singleplayer mode in GTA;SA. That means you'd have to go to the prop and press TAB to collect all of the money it generates. There would be a 3dtext with amount of $ near the prop icon, and increasing over time. Not sure if that's better than the current system. (as you'd have to travel a lot ?)


    Also if anyone buys the prop then you automatically get all of the earnings it generated, and it becomes $0 for the new owner !


    i don't mind changing property system, to something fresh, new and interesting ,but we've to see what other people have in their mind about this

    Add laboraties maybe like the properties in different tiers

    - players are able to buy one laboratory

    - players are able to upgrade it (for example tier 1 laboraty generates 30k/hour and is upgradeable to 75k/hour, tier 2 starts at 100k and is upgradeable to X, ....)

    - money will be stored in in the laboratory and players have to go in the laboratory to collect it

    - players are able to attack other laboratories (idk how it could work, but maybe if i want to attack a laboratory i have to crack the door, after it started the opponent have 5mins time to get his laboratory to kill me. if he's not able to defend the laboratory the attacker will get 25%? of the money that's stored in the laboratory)

    - high tier laboratories have an additional garage?



    tbh, this could be a nice gang feature aswell.. same system but just the whole gang ist able to attack/defend

  • Basically what it comes down to is that it needs to be more interactive instead of an AFK money maker where you buy something once and it's set & forget. I'm onboard with the idea, it's like GTA Online then (hence I asked for clarification) but that does mean that properties also need to be harder to be bought by other players (some kind of protection program or w/e you want to call it to avoid large chunks of money being lost, though again it makes for an interesting gold sink?).


    In GTA Online you need to invest large sums of money to get a little in return, you have to actively do missions or you can buy supplies, specifically I'm referring to the bunker update, I feel it's kind of simular to the suggestions above here. You have to buy an expensive bunker, you can upgrade staff and that way manufactering of whatever goes faster, you have the option to outright buy supplies and to source them yourself.


    Maybe it's an idea to have the option to have other players source the supplies for you? As a kind of middle man idea like in the real world where the supply chain consists of many different parteners that buy or source goods to make into a final product, I have no idea how this would be implemented though. This would result in people driving around the map with marked vehicles, some kind of hunting idea where you can take down the player carring the suitcase(as in idea of product) and try and take it to the final destination yourself.


    The difference between GTA Online and this would be that there needs to be some kind of gold sink, so it's probably best to keep the option for others to buy your business, maybe make it something like you need to defend it (or at least have an option to, it's a deathmatch focused server after all). You can't have a situation where money comes out of thin air, and while that's not totally the case now in a sense with the properties that we have that is the case. If players would make mutual agreements with one another not to buy certain properties then they can be milked forever (haha, takes me back to when we'd afk 24/7 to gain cash).


    A more interactive system also keeps people busy, a lot of games have daily activities that can be completed for cash or rewards. Maybe something like missions that reward you with score money and cash? An upfront investment with the idea of gaining money from it but a more interactive side to it would be an interesting idea to me. I realize this is a wall of text but I'm just throwing ideas out there.

    as for Niek and Ron, i like Niek's idea of the partnerships. Maybe its a great idea to use the gangsystem with the properties, you have to work together in your gang to get things running. Like together with your gangmembers you can collect supplies / deliver them and with your gang protect them from other gangs stealing your stuff. How do you guys think about that?

    Id say add gang bases (like we had in past) then with custom mapped interior like heist room gta o, and have these sort of missions listed on board or in room. Once one gang starts something, others get notified of it.


    Also point of gangbase is to control your props and upgrade, etc or sell stock/more..


    This can be like bunker gta o missions or like heists as well.


    Also this looks way more fun than /mission (singleplayer one we had in past).
